A. Google Account Authentication Data
When you authenticate with Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication, we receive your:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Public Profile Photo URL
- Unique Google User ID (UID)
Purpose: Used strictly to authenticate your account, maintain cloud preferences, and restore in-app subscriptions across your devices.
B. Payment & Subscription Data (Google Play Billing)
All in-app purchases and recurring VIP subscriptions (Monthly VIP and Yearly VIP) are processed solely by Google Play In-App Billing.
Our secure server receives only anonymized purchase tokens, product IDs, and expiry dates from Google Play to verify and activate your active VIP status.
C. Astrological Birth Chart Data (Optional)
If you calculate your personalized Vedic planetary profile, your birth date, time, and coordinates are processed on your device for frequency harmonization. This data is never sold or shared with third-party advertisers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your data for the following legitimate purposes:
- To operate real-time frequency synthesis, binaural beats, and sound sessions.
- To verify and maintain your Google Play VIP subscription entitlements.
- To ensure continuous audio playback when your screen is locked.
- To provide customer support and technical troubleshooting.
4. Android System Permissions
AstroTone requests only essential system permissions:
com.android.vending.BILLING: Required to facilitate Google Play subscriptions.android.permission.INTERNET: Required for Google Sign-In and purchase verification.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Required to maintain uninterrupted sound synthesis during meditation sessions when your device screen is off.android.permission.WAKE_LOCK: Prevents CPU sleep from interrupting continuous sound immersion.
5. Third-Party Services
We partner with trusted service providers to deliver app functionality:
- Google Play Services & Billing: Payment processing and license validation (Google Privacy Policy).
- Google Firebase Authentication: Secure user authentication (Firebase Privacy Policy).
- Google Fonts: Embedded typography.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
6. Account & Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
In accordance with Google Play's Account Deletion Policy, you have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

All profile details, subscription receipts, and logs will be permanently erased from our PostgreSQL database within 30 days.
